Animal Insides is now on Facebook!

Is Facebook a cheezy social network that your kid uses to share party pics or is this a significant platform that business can use to deliver fresh content to their readers?

In our case, we believe that the latter is going to be the case. Every day, we have items that we would like to relay to our readers but they are either not appropriate for the website or not "complete" enough to warrant a website post. Examples of what you will find our our Facebook page:

  • "Disaster emails" that we get from vets when then run into trouble with their digital radiography system.
  • Random musings as we read films during the day. These include pearls of wisdom about veterinary radiology you won't find in textbooks.
  • Upates on industry rumors and developments
  • The ability to comment on stories you see on the main Animal Insides website.

If you don't have a facebook page, maybe it is time to get one. Social media is everywhere it is time to get on the bandwagon and see what it is all about. Some say that it is the new email. You cannot do business without it.

In other news, Le Tour started Saturday. That also signals the start of our yearly vacation from Animal Insides website updates and newsletter mailings. This year, however, you can expect Facebook updates and if one of the rumors I am following is true, a newsletter update or two.

So, even though you will probably hear from me one way or another before then....Have a Happy Bastille Day and don't forget to follow us on Facebook.
