SimonDR has made the full conversion to Windows 7 and now offers the upgraded Operating System as a free improvement with the SimonDR software package. SimonDR is proud to be the first digital x-ray company to offer this improvement.

Having been swift in the move to Windows Vista and now to Windows 7, the computer systems that accompany SimonDR sales will now boast the fastest start-up and program boot times of any Windows Operating System. To meet the needs and desires of our customers SimonDR has always been able to offer downgraded systems, utilizing the considerably lightweight XP Operating System. Windows 7 offers the same light framework allowing it to run far faster than Vista would on lower processor speeds. An upgrade to Windows 7 also ensures compatibility with software being released today whereas XP will soon become incompatible.

SimonDR strives to maintain the most up-to-date software and equipment. SimonDR was first to manufacture an 18MP CCD detector, first to become Animal Insides DICOM validated in 2008, and is now first to ship complete radiography systems offering Windows 7.
