5/21/09: Hudson Digital Systems (HDS) can now communicate and trouble shoot the entire system including x-ray generator, console, tube, computer, and PACS as well as with the other computer work stations throughout a facility.

We are the only company that can not only log into clients system to review image quality but can adjust our image enhancement program and change the technique selections on the x-ray console. Our new OSA-RCA allows us to provide off site assistance with remote control adjustments.

Our newest image enhancement module has recently been released. It offers increase state of the art image quality and what we believe is the lowest dosage requirements across the board for both our flat panel and CCD devices. We have already received rave review from a number of tele-radiologists.

HDS has also released our Digital Compact Imaging system for both CCD and Flat Panel. A system can be installed in tight spaces, in fact we can install a system in as little as 6” x 6” room. We also have available for the smaller clinics a combination Digital Radiographic System and Surgery suite.

Operator safety has always been a factor in designing our systems. On average our required dosage for our flat panels and CCD products (excluding Vieworks) is now between 2 and 5 mAs at typical kV levels for 400 speed analog systems. This break through reduces scatter radiation to the operator and surrounding areas. It is most important that rooms be tested and operators wear full protection. Lower dosages including lower kV requirements go a long way in extending generator and tube life.

As a reminder many veterinary digital systems are shutting down on regular basis due to hair, dust and moisture. To date HDS has been the only company that has tackled this problem by eliminating active cooling (fans) from our systems. Periodic maintenance (and failure) has been virtually eliminated as well as catastrophic failure due to overheading. Cost of ownership has been reduce dramatically and proven reliability is an HDS success story.
