VJ Medical Systems, Inc. announces the addition of Acclera DDA (Direct Digital Array) imaging system to their existing line digital x-ray solutions.  Acclera technology provides veterinary practices with a significant balance between high performance flat panel DR systems and the economic performance of CCD and CR digital x-ray systems.  With over 500 worldwide installations, DDA technology is a reliable and robust proven solution for most medical professions.

Acclera’s 70 lens camera design is revolutionary and insures system uptime is maximized and maintenance costs are low.  Acclera’s individual lenses focus on a portion of the total image, (approximately 1.5 inches square), instead of the entire image being captured on a single CCD lens.  This results in a more discrete portion of the image being projected onto the photodiode thereby resulting in improved image resolution. The difficult task of Multi-Lens Image Stitching is the reason this 70 lens system can be offered.  VJ Medical and its partners solve the image stitching issue resulting in fast, quality image acquisition.

Acclera imaging hardware is coupled with VJ Medical veterinary specific software and advanced imaging algorithms.  It is provided as a “turn-key” solution in Sedecal X-Ray tables or can be retrofitted into existing practice x-ray tables.
