SimonDR, Inc. Attends the 2008 Veterinary Digital Radiography SHOWDOWN    and DICOM Validation

Bel Air, MD – July 17, 2008 – SimonDR, Inc. announced today their participation at the 2008 Veterinary Digital Radiography SHOWDOWN and DICOM validation conducted by Animal Insides in San Diego, CA.

SimonDR, on July 9, 2008, installed and acquired images with their retrofit receptor at the 2008 SHOWDOWN.
"SimonDR's core competency is the development and manufacture of CCD receptors and acquisition software," said Jason Simon, President of SimonDR, Inc. "It was important to us to attend the 2008 SHOWDOWN so that we could demonstrate our retrofit receptor."
SimonDR successfully retrofits existing analog systems, saving Veterinary hospitals $20,000 or more. SimonDR has retrofitted systems throughout the U.S., which include older single-phase systems as well as newer high-frequency systems from a variety of manufacturers. SimonDR recommends purchasing a high-frequency x-ray system when going digital, but single phase systems can be retrofitted successfully where electrical requirements will not allow for the new technology, or a budget will not allow for the added expense.
SimonDR resells co-branded x-ray machines from Quantum Medical Imaging, another ISO9001 registered manufacturer.  SimonDR also sells receptors to Del Medical, whose core competency is in x-ray machine manufacturing and is the oldest manufacturer in the industry.

About SimonDR, Inc. and Simon DRV
SimonDR DRV provides fast, unparalleled imaging through direct radiography.  From a leader in analog radiology for more than 50 years, SimonDR is lighting the way to the future of veterinary digital radiography.  SimonDR is the only U.S. digital x-ray manufacturer with ISO9001, the international recognized quality management system.

SimonDR is the spin-off of H. R. Simon and Company, an ISO9001 registered U.S. corporation with five decades of history and expertise in manufacturing medical and industrial imaging chemicals. Visit www.simondr.com.
